10-17-2002 NOAA to Map the West Coast Coastal Zone
NOAA Coastal Services Center - Charleston, S.C.—The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) recently awarded three remote sensing contracts to map coastal areas of the West Coast. Space Imaging will receive $350,000 to map coastal land cover in Washington and Oregon, and Earth Satellite Corporation will receive $411,000 to map coastal land cover in California.
